In 2022, I studied abroad in Barcelona through the Missouri School of Journalism's International Internship Program. As if balancing an internship, two classes and travel wasn't enough, I also decided to document my experience through content creation.
In just three months I grew my TikTok account, @abbyinbarcelona, to over 6,000 followers and millions of views. I learned a lot about social media and content creation along the way, and this side quest quickly became a passion project.
